Dear members of the Vernon BC Stake,

Twice each year, as directed by the President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, we gather for Stake Conference. This is a treasured opportunity to meet together and be “nurtured by the good word of God”.

Elder Vern P. Stanfill, of the Seventy, and President of the Canada Area, will be presiding at the conference. President Olsen has been called as an Area Seventy. Elder Stanfill and Elder Thompson (Area Seventy) will reorganize the stake with a new presidency.

Stake Conference will take place at the Vernon Stake Centre on April 18th and 19th. Members are invited to participate in each meeting at either the Vernon Stake Center or at home through streaming media. Links for streaming at home will be available on the days of the conference at https://vernonstake.org. ( Details of the schedule are available below and on the stake website. )

Please consider inviting others and assisting them to attend these sessions of conference. We look forward to meeting with you and sharing this time together.

Sincerely,

The Stake Presidency - Shayne Olsen, Paul England, and Brett Poulin
