Volunteers Make Thanksgiving Food Drive a Success!

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who volunteered and helped make this year’s BC Thanksgiving Food Drive such a success!

It was wonderful to see so many people come together throughout the week to support local food banks and make the drive possible. From collecting food and cash donations at Save-On-Foods, to distributing paper bags throughout neighbourhoods, picking up filled bags and delivering them to local food banks, and sorting and organizing the donations, every role was an important part of the effort.

And to everyone who donated food, made a cash contribution, volunteered or supported the drive in any way - thank you. Your generosity, time and willingness to help will make a meaningful difference for people and families in our community this Thanksgiving.

It’s heartwarming to see how much can be accomplished when people come together with kindness and a shared desire to help!
