Good morning,
FYI, I was recently asked to participate in a special private meeting with Dr. Lavoie and Dr. Brodkin, Deputy BC Provincial Health Officers and Sherry Marceil, Chair of the Multifaith Summit Council of BC regarding their concern of a probable very serious increase in the current measles outbreak in BC.
That meeting resulted in a second meeting with leaders of the Multifaith Summit Council of BC to inform them of the issues and seek their support in informing the members and friends of their relevant faith and cultural groups in BC.
A summary of slides presented at that meeting are attached.
It was very evident that the presenters were very concerned about what could take place when school resumes after the summer break and when weather changes result in more indoor activities. Please see attached slides!
