Osoyoos Branch Relief Society Activity!!

We are always happy to hear about the activities that are happening in our Relief Societies around the Stake! A big thank you to Renate Elliot, Osoyoos Relief Society President. Here is what has been happening in Osoyoos!!

Good afternoon Vernon Stake Members!

I was called as Relief Society President in August 2025, and immediately set forth having our first Relief Society activity as he March birthday for Relief Society.

I am sharing with you this fun Osoyoos Branch (Twig) Relief Society activity that we did, September 15th, making 20 fall floral centre piece arrangements for the Kiwanis Club here in Oliver.

They raffled tickets off at their dinner and the proceeds went to the Oliver Aktion Club, an organization that assists mentally and physically disabled seniors.

Sister Martino cleans the newspaper office and she was instrumental in getting our Service Project activity into the newspaper.

We not only had the first Relief Society activity since March, but we were able to do a service project and best of all, have a POSITIVE article printed about the church, in our local newspaper.

November 15th we will gather once again, this time to make 25 Christmas floral arrangements for the Kiwanis Christmas dinner.

I have invited every member, active or inactive, all my neighbors and friends and am looking forward to another fun service project.

Have a blessed day!

Warmest regards

Renate Elliott (Nati)”

(Relief Society President in Osoyoos)
