Christmas in our Stake- Kutschera

ree

Whenever the opportunity arose my husband and I participated in a Christmas Eve service of another faith to reinforce the beautiful season celebrating Christ’s birth. Also growing up, we were Lutheran so we always had a Christmas Eve service where the children would recite the Christmas story.

We also had an advent wreath with 4 candles and we would light one candle each week as we waited for the arrival of the celebration of Christ’s birth.  We also had a gold centerpiece with 4 small thin candles and when we lit them it would cause an angel on top with a trumpet to spin around symbolising the  announcing of good tidings of great joy to come!
