Christmas in our Stake - Arnolds

It all began a long time ago when our children were small. On December 13th our doorbell rang and the children ran to the door. There was no one there, but there was a small gift. The next day the same thing happened. This continued for 12 days. It was exciting to get these surprises each day. Who could our mysterious friends be? We felt so loved.

We decided to do the 12 days of Christmas the next year.  For the past 45 years, our family has given the 12 days of Christmas to one or more families. Amazingly,  we found out preparing and delivering these gifts was even more fun than receiving them. Along with the 12 days we got family Santa suits and enjoyed delivering surprises and carolling. In recent years we have received the 12 days. Last year, our church youth made beautiful gift boxes including a booklet "12 Day of Christmas Inspirations."  We Cherish this gift and will share the inspirations with others, as we share the love of our Savior.
