Special Family Search Meetings in October!!

On October 2nd, Merrill White and Tamra Stansfield from FamilySearch will be visiting our area. They are eager to learn about our experiences as Saints living far from the temple and to better understand how we engage with Family History. Their extensive backgrounds in genealogy and their commitment to supporting our communities make this an exceptional opportunity for us.

Merrill White has over 22 years of experience at FamilySearch, focusing on innovative ways to engage families in their genealogical pursuits. Tamra Stansfield is an Accredited Genealogist and has a wealth of knowledge in various areas of family research. Their visit is not just about learning from us; they are also committed to offering training and resources that could enhance our Family History efforts.

We will be hosting meetings to facilitate this engagement on October 3rd and 4th, with the same schedule for both locations:

Thursday, October 3rd in Penticton, BC: Daytime meeting: 1:00 to 2:30 PM Evening meeting: 7:00 to 8:30 PM

Friday, October 4th at the Vernon Stake Center: Daytime meeting: 1:00 to 2:30 PM Evening meeting: 7:00 to 8:30 PM
