Light the World 2024: We Can Be His Angels
Light the World is coming!!
The theme for Light the World this year comes from Luke 2:10–14: “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day … a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord ... And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, on earth peace, good will toward men.”
There are three main objectives for the Light the World program in 2024, which are: to improve understanding of the Church, to nurture relationships and goodwill with new friends, and to give members a way to share the gospel.
We are being asked to focus on ways that we can be angels in the lives of others to share the light of Christ! Consider how you can do this in your personal lives, ward activities and stake events! Please feel free to share this with your friends or on social media as we prepare to Light the World this Christmas!!
